Urban design plays an important role in the conservation and development of cultural heritage sites which have great importance in terms of their socio-cultural and socio-economic values in defining urban identity and memory. Aim: This research was carried out in order to identify urban design problems and to develop suggestions about them for Bursa Hanlar District which was registered as a UNESCO cultural heritage site in 2014.
