Differences in the Development and Diffusion Processes of Strawberry Varieties among Japanese Production Districts

Abstract
農産物産地の形成と産地間競争に関する既往の研究では,イノベーションが競争を駆動するものとして認識されていたが,その具体的なプロセスと地域的差異については必ずしも詳しく論じられていない.本稿は農業において技術の研究開発から普及を経て導入に至る過程をつなげて把握すべく,イチゴの品種の育成・普及を素材として検討した.この結果,まず,規模の大きな産地は小さな産地より速く品種が普及する傾向にあること,大きな産地ほど多くの品種が育成・登録されていることが伺えた.また,大きな産地では県内の試験場で育成された特定の品種の最終的な普及率が高かった.これらの産地では農協を通じた系統出荷率が高く,農協は,新品種への転換の方針決定と情報提供により,普及の速さと最終的な普及率を高めていた.産地におけるイノベーションは,研究の規模と蓄積,生産者の組織化の態様という各産地の事情を反映した過程であるといえる.This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
